  WHERE ZORRO GOES
by Kennedy O'Brien
  Zorro was an interesting guy
A man of mystery in a black disguise
Why he wore a hat we'll never know
One part practical
Three parts show
Zorro was a man of style and flare
At the first sign of trouble Zorro was there
No one ever knows where Zorro goes

They didn't recognise his moustache
Or his voice and his pearly white teeth
Didn't notice the Zorro boots
On his size ten Zorro feet
They could only wonder about the man underneath
Because no one ever knows where Zorro goes

If there was a problem Zorro was near
He would swing across the room on a chandelier
Zorro could rescue eight girls in a day
Then ado somewhere else he had to hurry away
And just as Zorro left Don Diego would appear
Perfectly kept but he'd pretend to be inept
He would never know where did Zorro go

When the peasants were revolting
Zorro was on their side
To fight against the soldiers
And steal the hearts of their brides
Zorro was so romantic
Then he was gone in the blink of an eye
Because no one ever knows where Zorro goes

Zorro could defeat an army
With a single mark of zed
They would almost catch him
But he would vanish instead
Leave the soldiers in a muddle
Like fish without bait
As he made his escape in a billowing cape
Out the window to his horse below
No one ever knows where Zorro goes

Zorro's assistant a pudgy man
Unable to speak
So he would gesture with his hands
And save Zorro every week
But when asked the question
He would point in the wrong direction

Because no one ever knows
no one ever knows
no one ever knows
where Zorro goes
